Yellow Submarine Spinning Coaster 4K Movie Ride Blueprint

~ An entry for the Channel 5 Gaming Movie Coaster Contest ~

We all live in a Yellow Submarine, a Yellow Submarine, Yellow Submarine!

This is a spinning coaster with a nice compact footprint, themed to the marvelously psychedelic 60's animation known as Yellow Submarine. This fun, family-friendly ride features a tame but respectable EFN rating of 5.37, 3.73, and 0.74. It has a vividly colorful track with custom supports where needed, stylistically retro buildings with bright "cardboard cutout" style scenery and cartoon characters (including the iconic Yellow Submarine itself), a big sign, and a lovely fountain with a "bronze" statue of Jeremy, one of the movie's heroes. It can be ridden day or night with lovely nighttime lighting.

While the movie features the timeless music of The Beatles, this ride, unfortunately, does not! For copyright reasons, it has a completely Beatle-free soundtrack featuring a mix of two songs from Planet Coaster and clips from two YouTube-friendly tracks ("Far Behind" by Silent Partner, and "Down the Drain" by Everet Almond, if you're curious!) There are also various vocals, all of which are performed by either my husband (putting on his best Liverpool accent) or myself. Yes, we're even the Blue Meanies. (Husband + lots of audio editing = the Dreadful Flying GLOVE!) I had a lot of fun putting together the audio, can you tell?

Place the audio (.ogg) file in the folder Documents/Frontier Developments/Planet Coaster/UserMusic

The ride can be run with 2 ride vehicles running with block sections (it just has 1 by default). Please note that with 2 vehicles, it will pause slightly on the first test run around. Once it gets going, it runs without interruptions.

Setup - Plop down the blueprint and sink it down to the line indicated! Use 4m paths with angle snap turned on to 15 degrees and follow the boards indicating the path edges. Use a 2m path to set up the Priority Pass line. Make sure the ride shows "yellow_submarine_ride_audio.ogg" as its audio track and you're good to go!

And just remember - if newer and bluer Meanies are sighted near the ride exit, there's only one way to go out: SINGING! (I've got a hole in me pocket if you need one, too.)
