Era - 1980s - NWA / WWF / AWA

Well! Road Warrior Hawk was one of the most dominant tag wrestlers in the history of the industry. Paired with Animal, the team known both as the Road Warriors and the Legion of Doom would destroy their opponents through the 80s, engaging in hazardous scaffold matches, and stick around long enough to outlast many of their imitators.

Despite Hawk's overwhelming power, he also was agile enough to leap off the top rope with his trademark diving lariat, a move that would finish many opponents when hoisted up by Animal to complete the Doomsday Device. What a rush!
