Downtown Base

Description
This base is designed to present a friendly public face to the neighbors while still being able to withstand an assault. The base has a garage with automatic doors, an armory with pistol range, common area, and bunk room. The core of the building is double-walled with concrete around a steel core.
Originally built as General Curmudgeon's main base in his Voxel Turf Let's Play series.

Hey Curmudgeon, you're missing a line of text in your lotpack txt file, you've missed the verbose name of the pack. Here is a working contents of the file.

Cool! I saw your video uploaded to YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3DVhESic20&t=328s

Just two quick things I noticed in re. YouTube video that I think should be commented here:

First, since you are using Windows, at about 16:30, I just want to add in that -- if you go to the "View" tab in the File Explorer, selecting "Preview Pane" really helps for looking at the text file listing exactly what everything corresponds to, should you want to experiment more with Commerce buildings, Parks, etc.

Second, I would strongly recommend posting your video, or at least a link thereof, somewhere on the Steam Page for Voxel Turf.

Lastly, fantastic video. Very helpful and insightful. Hopefully your video helps spur the growth of the Workshop. And also, thank you for the shout-out!

Again, excellent base!

Gen Curmudgeon,
If it makes you feel any better I made pretty much the exact same mistake.

Great building by the way.

I already had your country house mod installed so I rearranged using that file structure. Seems to be working now.

Thanks again for the help. Let me know if you see any other mistakes.

Thanks for the tips. I'll rearrange the files

Part II:

As you have it now, all of the files are placed in one cluster, hence why it reads as a resource pack. You need to move the v3 files -- both .txt and .lot files -- to a Nesting Doll of folders that looks like:

\Downtown Base\lots\packs\curmudgeon_hq_v3

At this point, place the .lot file in the actual curmudgeon_hq_v3 folder BUT leave the v3.txt foder next to the curmudgeon_hq_v3 folder (in the same directory as the "packs" folder).

FURTHER: you need to transfer the exact same text in the Curmudgeon_HQ.txt file to the curmudgeon_hq_v3.txt file. Like completely erase the text in the v3 file and replace it with the text in the Curmudgeon_HQ.txt file.

Part I:

Also, and sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this uploaded as a resource pack. To upload it as a lotpack, there has to be a general placing of files in a particular order. If you go to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\404530

This mod will appear as 121420957
I would recommend downloading/subscribing to a similar mod, either bi204-1, 4Bitten.Masterglitch, or myself to see how the file is supposed to be "packed" for uploading to the steam workshop.
