During the peak of his WWF run, The Ultimate Warrior was as popular as any superstar in the company, including the immortal Hulk Hogan.

Warrior started off his WWF career with an impressive ascent to the main event scene. Warrior squashed The Honky Tonk Man at SummerSlam '88 in 27 seconds, then went on to hold the title for the majority of the next two years before vacating the title following his WWF title victory over Hogan at WrestleMania VI.

Warrior left WWF in 1992 amidst a growing steroids controversy, but returned four years later for a short run, then resurfaced to torment his former foe Hogan in WCW in 1998.
