Incredibly ahead of his time, and a legend at Madison Square Garden, Antonino Rocca brought acrobatic feats and many of the flashy moves we take for granted into the mainstream of professional wrestling. The man also known as Argentine Rocca was a mainstay in the New York territory, wrestling for Toots Mondt, and later for the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, which would become the WWWF. Able to hoist opponents over his shoulders for the Argentine Backbreaker, execute moves from a handstand and throw a variety of kicks, Rocca would win a variety of titles, both in singles and tag competition.
