Ah cool, so my options txt file looks like this:

minimap_size =
{
768,
768,
}
uses_ice = false
visible_in_lobby = true
scenario_type = 1
permitted_game_mode_types =
{
"annihilation",
"annihilation_with_turrets",
}

right?

To publish it, delete the 10-digit number folder, open Dawn of War 3, go to workshop, select the map (it should be listed as published) and publish it again - any description on the map's steam page will need to be re-written, and the map will be updated. If you enter the 'multiplayer' tab before going to the community section to publish it, resume the process again. Hope this helps! sry for comment spam, 1000 character limit. And a note: in the options file, the gamemodes listed should have an intent before them.

Since the map has been uploaded, if you were to go into the game it would have you playing the published version so to test your changes, first go into the WorldBuilder and export changes, to apply the options file change, then go to Documents > My Games > Dawn of War 3 > mods > scenarios > local > [your map's folder] and there you should find a .sga file for the map. Copy this, and go back to the previous folder and you should see a folder with a name made up of a 10-digit number, or several of them. Each one represents a published map. Find the one that belongs to this map and paste the .sga file, replacing the one that is already in there - this will let you test the changes.

For annihilation if you should have it set up as:
permitted_game_mode_types =
{
"annihilation",
"annihilation_with_turrets",
}

If you wanted to implement PowerCore, you'd need to add "PowerCore".

I think so, I just set all the bits for annhilation, was confused about altering the options txt file tho...?

I have the same issue. Have you set the gamemodes properly?
