It seemed like the end for the Terrans. The once-rival factions from all corners of space had joined forces to wipe the Terrans off of the plane of existence. However, an escape pod was shot out and miraculously slipped past the coalition's defenses...

That was many centuries ago. Fast-forward to the present. These Terrans, who now call themselves Germanians, have embarked on a quest: to find home. Tired of conflict, they, nestled between a pair of nebulae, waited out the warring of their violent ex-neighbors until they could safely start their long journey to find home. They didn't want vengeance or violence, they just wanted to go home.

Germanium is a work-in-progress mod that adds in said faction to your game. Their block names are based off of elements, and their pre-created ships' names are based off of chemical terms. At the moment, they don't have many blocks, but they have a pretty decent range of weapons ranging from charging lasers to drone missiles. When encountering this faction in space, they are quite peaceful unless they're provoked. Keep in mind that this mod is in its early stages and is not entirely balanced yet. Everything in this mod is subject to change. If you would like to submit ships for this faction, please let me know.
