Commands note:
After several observations of the Ricandan navy powers, it was identified that there was a lack of capable destroyers that was capable of being massed produced and strong against heavy opposition. There was discussion of how to replace the previous imperial designs and the conclusion was to make a new all-purpose and mid-range patrol craft. It was also noted that it would need to last beyond inital campaigns and after the recent introduction of compact high-caliber weapon systems without sacrificing power the cannons mouted were canibalised from other prototype projects. The result is BPS-125 as an all purpose support destroyer with great stopping power, as proof only five were required to wipe the DWG off the map and further. Three things are garunteed whith this ship: consistancy and power at a low cost.

Thanks, I'll keep it up as long as more effective designs come to mind. (and 40% destruction rate against superior forces says that my current build technique is at least somewhat effective)

This is a damn good ship. The chain reaction problem is gone thanks to new turret arrangements, and it hits hard for it's small size and cost. It goes toe to toe with my similarly-sized heavy frigate and wins about 40% of the time, but it's cheaper and smaller than it's opponent so that's understandable. Great job, and a huge improvement over the patrol ship.
