Description
A Reaper wakes up in Hell. It’s a familiar sight, and not a welcome one. Beneath him is a snow-covered facility with mind-bending geometry, filled to the brim with demons and zombies who refuse to speak a single word. His head is hung like the day he arrived in this Place, and his job is becoming more and more difficult to understand.

Stage 4 of Cassettes.

Notes:

I’m really happy with this level. It’s a culmination of all the previously-developed ideas (upside-down rooms and enemies, places only accessed by dropping from a specific point, weapons that are costly to get, mischeviously-placed shambler heads, large rooms full of balconies and stair mazes, etc...) and brings a lot of new ideas to the table.

Recently updated to be FAR less laggy!

In addition: there’s a hidden cassette that reveals some lore about the character you’re playing as well as the reason for all of this. Post a comment if you can figure out how to unlock it!

I think you're heading in a different and unique direction, which is the right direction. Your maps are so different and can trick the eye sometimes. I love the maps, keep up with the great work.

Thanks! I'm going to try and keep my next level managable as best I can.

Any thoughts on these? Am I headed in the right direction with some of these gimmicks, do you think?

In deadbolt, the lights, fire effect (whenever the player burns ash), and mirrors can drop the player's fps if used frequently. Use the lights and mirrors carefully. Like, try not to use them a lot of them. Poor optimization on Hopoo though. :spycon:
