Description
"The One Man Band" Heath Slater made his first appearance for WWE as part of NXT's first season. When the entire NXT roster attacked John Cena and CM Punk on RAW in June 2010, Slater and the rest of the new Nexus stable turned heel.

As part of Nexus, Slater won the WWE Tag Team titles alongside Justin Gabriel, although the title changed hands due to leader Wade Barrett's orders.

When Nexus split after CM Punk took the reins of the stable, Slater stuck with Barrett and joined The Corre. Slater and Gabriel would again with the tag titles as part of The Corre.

On his own, Slater has mostly been used to put over other talent, and he has had more success when part of tag teams and stables. In 2016, Slater formed a tag team with Rhyno, which resulted in another tag team title win for Slater.
