Restauratio Imperii Asurum

Description
This scenario is about the Restoration of the Elven Empire. Prince Teclis has convinced the Phoenix King that they must look beyond the borders of Ulthuan, if the world is to be saved. Remembering the glory of their former empire, the High Elves have sent out their powerful forces acoss the globe, to restore order in these dark times.

Teclis has gone to Lustria, Tyrion has invaded the Southlands and Alastar has landed in Naggaroth. The Asur have begun to reclaim many of their ancient lands. But now you are spread out, at war with many factions, resources are are beginning to dwindle and dissent is growing. Can you force the lower races to submit? Or will the dream of elven world domination go up in smoke and flames?

Background
Restauratio Imperii Asurum is similar to playing Rome in TW:Attila. You start as the most powerful faction, with much territory and many armies. But it is only a matter of time before the storm is coming. Can you hold?

This is a mod for the vortex campaign. Mortal Empires has too many problems right now, and playing as elves has more flavour in the vortex campaign. The map is also better suited for a setup like this.

Starting Position
- play as the Elven Expeditionary Force. You start with 15 regions, 8 armies and 3 heroes
- pick Teclis or Tyrion. You will get both lords, but only one global trait will apply. Choose wisely
- the Fortress of Dawn is your capital. It has 10 settlement slots
- you have trade agreements with the elven factions back in Ulthuan. They will supply you

The overall goal remains the completion of the vortex ritual. You have access to several way-fragment sites on different continents, but can you defend them all?

Mod Compatibility
This is a startpos mod and will conflict with other mods that change the startpos file. The extra upkeep for addtional lords has been removed for all factions, since you start with a lot of armies. Alastar is now immortal, like Teclis and Tyrion.

For additional mods, check out the Uber Collection II. It is recommended to use it together with this mod, for the best possible experience.

Enjoy!

Yes Elven Empire is the successor mod. There are some differences.

Is Elven Empire the newer Version of this? Is there a big difference?

Indeed, he is in a tough spot though. Up in Naggaroth, with such a small pack of lions...
