Description
Version 1.2

Music pack including tracks from both 28 Days and 28 Weeks Later. Part 2 Includes:
Safe Room Reached
Level Start (Safe Room Ambience)
Combat Music

This started out as a personal pack based on an old L4D1 video I saw, and I intended to share it with friends who were fans of the films. However, L4D2 got the workshop treatment so I figured I would share it.

I'm fairly new to audio editing so this may be a little rough, and some tracks might not work - hence V1.0 - I need feedback and improvements, as well as suggestions. Due to university, work and generally having an existence, I haven't touched this in a while (and forget whether I'd included In The House In A Heartbeat, for shame).

Download, leave a comment, and help me improve this for your zombie slaughtering needs.

All credit to original composers and whatnot.

Audacity/VPK slave work by yours truly.

Hey Pony, thanks, I really appreciate it! I've suffered a colossal HDD failure since making this. If I get the free time soon I can have a look at doing that for you.

Safe Room Reached isn't working.

Yeah, thats a real shame because it would fit PERFECTLY to the horde, but well, you could add a 2 second loop of the drum part of the tower block song to the horde then? maybe could work.

And well, i THINK, you can add custom music to l4d 1 campaings, i downloaded a mod that adds RE songs to all vanilla campaings when you are in the safehouse, so maybe it would work with the horde songs?

May i suggest you some songs?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ltt2pELY34&list=PL118AD9ADA54875D6 this would be nice when you exit the safe house, the quiet creepy part of the song at the start or after the tense part.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnU25VIDM7s&list=PL118AD9ADA54875D6 or this song too (or this one coud replace the accordion part.

Here are all the ost of the 2 movies: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0CE8E032CF01C312 and http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL118AD9ADA54875D6

Again, the horde music is drum loops, so I couldn't do those tracks, which is a shame; because the Tower Block music was amazingly tense. I had it for the horde in my personal L4D1 pack, but couldn't do it on this.

The track with Jim in London that builds up to that awesome crescendo finalé is by Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and I think I fit it in as one of the "Finalé Escape Vehicle" tracks - if the L4D1 maps allowed all the custom music to work in them, it's also the one you'd hear at the end of No Mercy as you run through a horde of zombies for the chopper. I forget which one of the L4D2 campaigns has it when you can escape, but I wanted that "Oh shit, we need to go now!" feeling of tension the track brings to the very end of your campaign.

Yeah XD me too, and you think you could add the song of the tank (in a heartbeat or something like that) to the horde? and to the tank the song that plays where the survivors (of the movie) are in the stair escaping from the infected? and also one of the songs i remember from the movie that you didnt incluce in the mod (unless you put them on a campaign i havent played yet) are for example that song that plays in the movie when the guy wakes in the hospital and wanders in the city, that song was nice.
