I missed the Akaviri Dai-Katana from Oblivion so I just had to "fix" that.
You can now craft your own katana! The main file will be the craftable and upgradeable version.
I removed the chest version.

The katana is a little faster than other two handed weapons.
Two-handed Dai-Katana: 0.8000
"Normal two-handed sword": 0.7000

Forging recipe: 1 Iron Ingot, 1 Leather Strips, 4 Steel Ingots.
Required perk: Steel Smithing.

Same damage as the Elven Greatsword. (Because in the vanilla game the one-handed "Blades sword" have the same damage as the Elven Longsword.)
The value is 600 (one-handed 300.)

Is there a way to remove the scabbard for this, the scabbard on the back just seems wierd and moves strangely

@Monochromation Its really easy to edit the speed if you have the Creation Kit. :) I could also make another version. :)

This is amazing. I only wish it were faster. I mean, I have my character pull this sleek, beautiful blade from his back, bring it to the ready, and then heave it in this slow, lumbering swing. Aside from that, wonderful work. I commend you.

I'm not seeing it anywhere in steel smithing category and i have the steel smithing perk
