These frigates are mainly used for the escort of fleets but are also able to directly engage the enemy in case of need. Like the other frigates, the Paris class has a magnetic acceleration cannon, an Archer missile launch system, M910 defensive turrets and nuclear missiles. She can board a squadron of Longswords interceptors and pelicans in her hangars.

Several frigates of this class took part in the conflict against covenants such as the UNSC Commonwealth during the Battle of Chi Ceti, the UNSC Grafton and the UNSC Saratoga during the Battle of the Szurdok Ridge or the UNSC Savannah during the operation: UPPER CUT. Still in service in the post-war period, several of these ships escorted the UNSC Infinity.

His design was inspired by the Odyssey, the first colonial ship equipped with 3 Shaw-Fujikawa reactor.
The ship is also equipped with Jump Drive.
