May I link you to the upgrade the ORION class Ships?
If you liked the Challenger Class ones, you will LOVE these! ;-)
They are a bit bigger (but not much), have the same inner layout (that is easy access and short way to anything) but have a bigger landing area, better Manoeverability, better Weaponry and the Possibility to have 6 Mining Lasers attached to act as an Asteroid Miner in late Game...

The lvl-10 variant is my favorite "Starter ship" now which I upgrade into the lvl-25 variant over time, and even if I build then my next favorite ship, the IRON HAWK Assault Dropship, I'm still using the ORION for Asteroid Mining and Recon!

This was the first CV I built in the game and so far, it is a champ. Very well laid out and simple to run and maintain. Plus as an added bonus, it was fairly cheap to build. Granted I was level 25 when I made it, but I am a solo player in Survival and just learning the game still and playing on a little laptop that has no business running this game... Anywho, I love the ship design. Very well done!

Compatibility-Update A7 & A8 : Removing Plants in Growing Plots. Now it's also usabel in A8!
