Yes, I know. In the TV show they used cranes to move the eagles around in the hanger, and one day I might try to figure out how to build that. But for now, we have the Eagle Lift.

This build is completely vanilla.

If you look at the rest of my Space 1999 collection you will find Eagles, Modules, and the Moon Base Hanger.

The Controls…..

Control Set 1:
1) Hand Break on/off
2) Right Side Camera View
3) Camera Looking Down on Eagle, for Alignment Side to Side.
4) Camera Looking Across at Merge Block, for Alignment Front to Back.
5)
6) Lifting Piston Reverse.
7) Lifting Merge Block on/off
8)
9) Lock/Unlock Eagle Landing Gear

Control Set 2:
1) Hand Break on/off
2) Decrease Wheel Power
3) Increase Wheel Power
4)
5) Driving Mode – Car
6) Driving Mode - Slide
7) Driving Mode - Spin
8) Decrease Wheel Height Offset
9) Increase Wheel Height Offset

Control Set 3:
1) Sends a Command to Cycle Airlock A to Match the Hanger Side.
2) Sends a Command to Cycle Airlock A to Match the Landing Pad Side. Also Lowers the Pad

Control Set 4:

Control Set 5:
1) Projector on/off

Driving Modes:

Car Mode – Just like it sounds the Lift truck will drive like a car. Front and back wheels both turn. If the front wheels are turned to the left, the back wheels will turn to the right.

Slide Mode – Front and Back wheels both turn in the same direction, allowing the vehicle to slide left or right without rotating.

Spin Mode – This takes a lot of power and may or may not work depending on the size of the load. To operate in spin mode, hold down the D key (Left) and then Press W Key (Forward) to rotate Clockwise, and S Key (Backward) to rotate Counter Clockwise.


Other Notes:

The Piston for lifting is preset to a fixed distance. If the Eagle is docked a little high, or a little low. Use the ride height offset for the wheels to raise or lower the truck to match the ship. For some reason the hand break prevents the suspension parts of the wheel from moving as well as stopping the wheel from spinning, so when you make the adjustment make sure the hand break is off.

The lift truck is also Equipped with a projector so new eagles can be built right in place.
