Space 1999 - Module Lift

This little truck is used to move Eagle modules around in the hanger.

This build is completely vanilla.

If you look at the rest of my Space 1999 collection you will find Eagles, Modules, and the Moon Base Hanger.


The Controls…..

Control Set 1:
1) Hand Break on/off
2) Driving Mode - Car
3) Driving Mode - Slide
4) Decrease Wheel Height Offset
5) Increase Wheel Height Offset
6) Lifting Piston Reverse.
7) Lifting Merge Block on/off
8)
9) Lock/Unlock Module Landing Gear

Control Set 2:
1) Sends a Command to Cycle Airlock A to Match the Hanger Side.
2) Sends a Command to Cycle Airlock A to Match the Landing Pad Side. Also Lowers the Pad
3)
4)
5) Sends a Command to Raise to the Landing Pad
6)
7)
8) Sends a Command to Cycle Airlock B to Match the Hanger Side.
9) Sends a Command to Cycle Airlock B to Match the Landing Pad Side. Also Lowers to Pad

Control Set 3:
1) Projector on/off
2) Projector Increase Horizontal Offset
3) Projector Decrease Horizontal Offset
4)
5) Projector Increase Vertical Offset
6) Projector Decrease Vertical Offset
7)
8) Projector Increase Forward Offset
9) Projector Decrease Forward Offset

Control Set 4:
1) Projector on/off
2) Projector Increase Pitch
3) Projector Decrease Pitch

5) Projector Increase Yaw
6) Projector Decrease Yaw

9) Projector Decrease Roll


Driving Modes:

Car Mode – Just like it sounds the Lift truck will drive like a car. Actually, more like fork lift. Only the back wheels will turn.

Slide Mode – Front and Back wheels both turn in the same direction, allowing the vehicle to slide left or right without rotating.


Other Notes:

The Piston for lifting is preset to a fixed distance. If the module is docked a little high, or a little low. Use the ride height offset for the wheels to raise or lower the truck to match the module. For some reason the hand break prevents the suspension parts of the wheel from moving as well as stopping the wheel from spinning, so when you make the adjustment make sure the hand break is off.

The lift truck is also Equipped with a projector so new module can be built right in place.
