Description
This is a redesign of my original Star Trek Constitution class cruiser which you can find here:

The Constitution Class Heavy Cruiser is the first starship we ever see and is the baseline for all federation starships to date.

This design is 2 million kilograms lighter and uses only stock parts, no mod/addon parts or blocks. This version leaves the entire 3rd floor open to any customization desired, 2 blocks high, at the cost of some defense if attacked from above. The stardrive section of the ship decks 8 and 9 I believe are empty for your own use. The turbolifts in this version now have doors to prevent pressure being lost if a deck should lose integrity, with an air vent for the 12 decks in total. The ship has less gyroscopes and armor as the previous version as to provide a lighter and agile varient to the class, utilizing new nacelles that are have less armor but are more efficent then the predecessor. Althought not built for the aspect of combat, it still has weapons attached to assemblers, and cargo containers with connecter points on both the stardrive and saucer section something I lacked to include in the older version. Much like it's previous version, the ship can saucer seperate however it is imperative that you read the saucer landing procedures that I have written below.

Features:
-Hanger with hangar control room
-Auxillary Bridge in Stardrive on Deck 11 and Command Bridge in the Saucer on Deck 1 both with instructions (public and private, however saucer separation often tends to erase station key bindings and thus rendering the instructions useless)
-Ability to saucer seperate (NOTE: I have switched out the glitchy pistons and blastdoors for Airtight hangar doors, 9 less hydrogen thrusters however)
-Saucer Landing Legs (Must be saucer separated in order to use them)
-Pressurized decks for all 12 levels
-5 "Phaser" turrets and 2 "Photon Torpedo" turrets
-Airlock entries in both saucer and stardrive
-self-destruct sequences for both saucer and stardrive
-added refineries connected to cargo containers and connectors

What I fixed in the version than the previous version
-Saucer separation and remerging is now feasible again
-fixed missing navigational lights on the underside of the saucer
-Added the 4 "circular" skylights seen on the ship's top saucer
-fixed some blocks that were damaged/meshed out from the pistons

Plans for the future
-None planned as of this update

SAUCER LANDING PROCEDURES

The Helms station is the first of the saucer separation procedure, turning on the hydrgen thrusters which are named "Thrusters (Saucer)" with the image of a small hydrogen thruster, the key binding on this station can be found on page 3 and 4 as number 9.

The Captain's Chair is the second, with page 1 number 1 being Blast Doors (Landing) with the piston icon, doing so will open the blast doors covering the landing thrusters, after which on page 1 number 2 is another piston icon press that AFTER the engineering station part has been completed, if so then press 2 which should be named "Landing Legs" pressing this will have the three landing legs extend outward, and if you had saucer separate the ship's saucer will then push itself up and away from the stardrive section

Finally going to the engineering station located on the Deck 1 the Command Bridge to the southwest of the captain's chair, there as the first button on the panel is the ability to turn on or off the merge blocks, pressing it once if you spawn it your world will separate the saucer with the stardrive, there is no turning back after this has been pressed as attempts to remerge with piston blocks on board tends to break the ship.

After those 3 have been completed, make your approach to the planet using forward thrusters, enter the atmosphere until gravity begins to pull the ship down, at this point level the ship out with respect to the planet surface and begin the slow descent down to the planet.
Note that all landings may not achieve the same results, as on the first try I landed with minimum damage to the saucer, and on another I lost about 1/8 of the rear section but the section survived nonetheless. Landing outcomes are subjected to change of the planet's gravity, entry approach and leveling of the ship.

Also to note that the new physics update may have botched this all up.

Originally I wanted this to replace the old version, but decided against it due to the fact that the old version (Link to ti above) does have it's perks, having more guns, and more armor, however this ship was built with after I had more experience building with space engineers and in turn it became more efficient in construction time and planning, this also served as some educational purpose as I figured out that pistons are very unreliable when remerging.
