Welcome to Exiles of the ARK, this mod adds in some custom creatures as well as some decorative and utility items. Everything is balanced around vanilla stats and fits well into both PVP and PVE game-play, and may even be ideal for the RPers out there.


  • Clean and Stackable. (Is not a Core Mod: Can be anywhere in mod order)
  • Does not edit any of ARK's Core files, Structures, Spawn Zones or Dinos.
  • Runs on all ARK Maps, Official and Custom.
  • Balanced for PVP and PVE. With some items ideal for RP as well.
  • Works with Core mods like Extinction Core, Annunaki Genesis and Primative +
  • New storage,decorative and utility items.
  • All items can be picked up and locked.
  • New custom creatures that are not just re-colors of existing creatures, some with Aberration variants.
  • New Roaming rare spawn Boss’s that add a bit of flair to the game.
  • Boss creatures and the future items they will offer are not vital to the mod and can be disabled if desired.
  • Can be safly removed.

  • New cooking station with new food items (balanced around vanilla stats)
  • More custom creatures and items
  • Custom Dossiers
  • Boss drops that can be collected and crafted into new items (balancing in the works so they are not OP or easy to farm)
  • Human Exiles roaming the land that you can recruit.


I am always open to new ideas, suggestions and feedback! In fact some of the dino's and items already in the mod came about from idea's and requests given to me! I want this to be a well balanced mod that everyone can enjoy regardless of their preferred game mode. But it can only continue to be that way with the aid of feedback and criticism from the player base! So don't be shy, let me know what you like, don't like, and feel free to advertise any server you're using this mod on in its assigned discussion!

Why does the Dracovenator from this mod conflict with the one from the Prehistoric Beasts mod? You can change your Dracovenator's ID to ''draco_character_bp_c''.

@Ragnar This is an old version of the mod and the essence was to be a crafting reg but due to backlash from having Hati and Skoll (as in the linked topic) the concept was scrapped. a rework is in order and boss's are being refused.

So i killed a Skoll after like 30 mins of fire and i didn't really get anything other than an essence of Skoll, anybody know what i do with this i cant find it out anywhere.

As for progress update. I'm re-working the mod from scratch. This mod having been such an early endever in modding that was held together by hopes and dreams. It is such a tangled mess I can't make heads or tails out of what past me was thinking. So having copied just the base files for all the creatures and objects I'm starting from scratch. Dinos and objects are still being divided into two mods as no one seems to care for a all in one pack these days.

Progress is only slightly hindered as monitors have started to flicker and 'freeze' the picture with a gamble if it resumes or not. I am now glaring daggers at my new video card going "Don't you dare." I would not put it past my luck.

Haha. So looks like the dracovenator became popular. I'll look into it on the next release. I guess this is what happens when I give my creatures generic file names. Their spawn commands are listed under creature information so you should be able to redirect it elsewhere.

As for Raptor, Hati and Skoll have long sense been removed due to the crazy amount of hate I got when they were first added (that whole drama seen in the linked comment 'Skoll & Hati and concerns from Fan's of the Comic 'OFF WHITE'') Something I now find stupidly funny as both the comic has been discontinued for years now and the ark devs added them in as their own boss's.

Facepalm anyone? I might re-add them in but seeing how they are now truly in the game I dunno.

Heya, just wondering if its possible to modify the spawn code for the dracovenator as it's identical to the one in the Prehistoric Beasts mod. All the dracos from that mod keep getting replaced with the ones from yours, which is a shame because both models are good.

And before I forget, I know this is a weird question, but could you also make the Follower of Skoll tameable via the command forcetame, along with Follower of Hati and Elite Follower of Hati. If you can't/don't want to bother with it, it's fine! I just wanted to see if you could/would. And amazing mod btw, great to see that it has come this far!
