Move stuff around a little so that it doesn't just feel like its a big long path to the hole with a bunch of shit getting in the way. You don't have to make it super linear or anything, just streamline it some. Give it somewhat distinct paths through each hole that can be accomplished within a reasonable amount of time/shots by a skilled player. This map would be a lot of fun if it felt like you could Stephen Hawking the angles and trajectories to get where you want instead of basically just praying that you get lucky. I actually really wanted to like this map, because it looked so cool and was so expansive, but everything about it feels like it is punishing me for playing it. If you ever decide to rework it, let me know. With some touch ups it could be a blast.
That said, it would be an amazing map if more care were taken. Just because a map is big and circuitous doesn't mean it has to take forever. Increasing the friction on the ice would make it easier to actually get where you want instead of either flying past your goal or only going an inch at a time would make the map feel a million times less tedious, and reduce the time you spend just waiting for the ball to Just. Fucking. Stop.
The few obstacles that aren't basically just winter themed hail Marys are either tedious putting sections where you have to inch your way around obstacles, usually falling off every other shot because there are almost never any walls on these sections and you slide for a year and a mile, or they are even more tedious "skill" sections where you have to hit something a certain precise way, and if you are a fraction of an inch of on your aim, starting position, or power input, you are fucked.
An exercise in tedium and agony. This doesn't feel so much like a course as it does a maze crossed with an obstacle course. Most of the set pieces and props are placed haphazardly with no rhyme or reason other than to be there and to be in you way. It's never clear where you are supposed to go, v-clipping shouldn't be required just to figure out where to go. The ice is even more slippery than on other ice maps I've played so it takes an eternity to finally stop, and the vast majority of the map is just dumb luck, just smash the ball hard and hope that you chaos theory smiles in you favor.
