Lol, that first part was intended. That surface you mentioned was actually not portable until you tap the pedestal button. You can't see it, but after tapping the ped. button, that surface turns around and becomes portable (along with the lasers being deactivated and such. Can't wait to see the video. That is so cool that you post it for us to view. I'll be sure to add your map to my queue and leave feedback/comments.

The only time I felt stumped was in the beginning. Couldn't see there was a portal surface far away and after I pressed the button I was more than confused. As the buttons with multiple connections and signage were spread over the map I didn't try to stop and analyze the puzzles but went along to spontaneously do whatever what possible to do. Every time a button was activated it was like "oh, that's convenient, alright". So it wasn't much of a thinker to me but I enjoyed it nevertheless as it was never dull. Maybe not all of my steps were intended, I feel like I left some possibilities unexplored.

Dude, you are awesome. Thanks so much. I'll be sure to check out all your maps later when I can give more attention. I just put some finishing touches on it to make some things more intuitive and less annoying - without allowing any shortcuts.

OK, now I solved it the way you intended. I like the way you think!
The first time I (accidently) took a shortcut:
I used the speed gel to jump up to the platform below the button that opens the exit. Form there you can reach the button with a jump. Then I jumped down into a portal and directly up in the tractor beam that lead to the now open exit. I never found the ball room.

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback lord_dhaf. I updated the chamber, and I think I've solved the workaround you found with the bouncing gel. I'll also fix the issue with being stuck at the exit ASAP. I'll check out and comment on yours and Monkey Tommo's maps tonight or tomorrow.
