Description
A Reaper wakes up in a building filled with reflections-- and foes contorted tall and short, like circus mirrors have transformed them. His relationship with the body he inhabits is beginning to feel casual, and even the strangest manipulations of his environment are less and less surprising-- but this shift has completely broken any notion of this Place being real. Still, there's no escape from it. Still, there's no waking up. Still, the only logical choice is to continue fighting, else he might fade entirely from sanity.

Stage 9 of Cassettes.

Notes:

This is the first level on the Workshop, to my knowledge, that uses an edited .nc file to have freely resized enemies and objects. This began as just my discovery, but JAG and Nintee have been MASSIVELY helpful for figuring out the kinks of this still-fresh concept. For now, this level includes tall enemies, short enemies, and a BIG REAPER. NICE AND TALL.

The actual stage is broken up into two halves-- both shorter than a typical level of mine. This means it should be a lot more fun for those of you who prefer shorter, more concise levels!

Finally, the cassette... might actually be attainable by accident for the average player. This uses a new discovery with file manipulation, but it's exciting the amount of hidden stuff we're going to be able to make in the future with this stuff. It's Timur's turn again to talk, and as always, things continue to ramp up from the last tape.

Short enemies (particularly vampires) are kinda broken, but you've probably noticed that while playtesting.

You managed to make it fitting in the story so eh, why not mess around with heights.

Other than that, this level is your best one yet. Especially since it's short and isn't swarming with enemies. Won't be complaining about holes in the floors since for once they actually seem logical to me, considering the context of the story and all that.

Tall Reaper is strangely fun to play as. Props to discovering this. :phono:
