AotH 2.8 Unofficial Update HIP Version

Description
THIS IS A UNOFFICIAL 2.8 UPDATE FOR ROBKENYON'S AWESOME "Ascent of the Hrafn: A Norse Flavour mod" MOD. ALL CREDIT FOR THIS MOD GOES TO HIM.

As the title says, this is the HIP version.

A none HIP version can be found here.

A CK2Pluss version of this mod can be found here.

###You only need to activate this version of the mod to use it. Activating the original mod as well will crash the game.###

###If you are acrivating this mod after allready reforming your faith, you need to maually start the event named "robmodnorse.00038" and "robmodnorse.10001" to get everything to work as intended.###

As soon as the original mod is updated, or if Robkenyon asks me to remove this mod, this mod will be removed from the workshop, so keep a close look on the original mod page to see any future devellopments.I've done my best to make this mod work for the new patch, and so far I've not seen any bugs. But please comment if you find something iffy, and I'll see what I can do to fix it.You can also download the mod in the comments of the original mod's forum page here.[forum.paradoxplaza.com] I've opted to not create a new discussion thread, as I'm not the ovner of this mod.

This mod is no longer supported after 2.8, as many of its features were implemented into the latest expansion, and the fact that the mod is not really mine to modify to any real extent.

You would have to take it up with Robkenyon for a new version, but as far as I've heard, he does not seem to be working on anything as of right now, I'm afraid:/

Hello, i have a problem - when i try to start a game (choosing of character and click play) game just crashing. Did try it with and without any other mods and SWHM.

Very wany to play Norce with this mod and convert to EU4 but cant. Pls help :(

Makes sense. Still nice work. Having a blast right now, with really interesting campaign dynamics, that I haven't seen before - e.g. forming of certain kingdoms etc. beside the additional lore and flavour. Will keep this one until HIP mod is properly applied to the next update.

Glad to hear it works^^ I'm afraid that the mod will be left dead as soon as the next expansion launches, though. As it will introduce many elements similar to this mod, and updating it to work with the new expansion, without rewriting a large portion of it, is not something I want to do, both from a time perspective, and as the mod is not really mine to alter.

Had to enable cloud-sync and start the game two times (mod showed up after first launch but wasn't selectable). Now it works. Really excited to play now as I never bothered playing beyond reformation. Big thanks for keeping this one alive and bringing it up here!!

You only need to subscripe to this verison of the mod. (as well as installing HIP, ofc) It is called "AotH 2.8 Unofficial Update HIP Version" in the launcher. If it does not show up, try unsubscribing, launching the game, exit, and then resubscripe again, and see if that works.

I'm playing HIP mod, After subscribing AotH I can't find it on the mod list for activation. Guess it's not that simple or is it ? Sorry I couldn't find any installation guide.
