The Revival's motto of "No Flips, Just Fists" fits the former Scott Dawson's style perfectly. Dawson is a no-nonsense throwback in the ring, using a technically sound skillset and a strong ring sense to his advantage.

After spending years on the US independent scene, Dawson signed with WWE in 2012, but it wasn't until 2014 (and the signing of Dash Wilder) that Dawson's WWE career began to take off. Originally billed as The Mechanics, Dash and Dawson became involved in multiple excellent matches and feuds in NXT before the duo was called up to the main roster.

While alternating injuries to Dash and Dawson have slowed The Revival's ascent to the top of the tag division on RAW, the team made their return in December 2017, ready to go after the RAW Tag Team Titles.
