Solais' SS3 Survival Pack

Description
Originally made between 2011-2012, this is a collection of my old SS3 survival maps, now ported to Fusion. Some of them are regular survival maps, but for others, I was experimenting with different gimmicks, and might not be that enjoyable as regular Survival maps are. They should mostly work and look like the originals, though did a few changes and optimizations here and there.

Contents:

AAAAAAaaaaaaAAAAAAaaaaaa

A Survival map that will make you relive the bouncy rooms in The Second Encounter! The title derives from the usual sounds coming from such arenas. Uses assets from the Ultimate Resource Pack, but you don't need that pack for playing.
Bounce Away!

- Description -

Survival map with a bouncy floor gimmick. Might not be your style, but it is definitely unique when it comes to survival packs. You will face your usual adversaries, along with some new ones from the Ultimate Resource pack. You find respawning goodies on non-bouncing platforms.

Years in the Future

Years in the future, but not many. Due to the cataclysmic events of Mental's attack, many cities have been buried by sand, while others have been submerged due to melted icecaps or the destruction of dams. In such a submerged city, a band of survivors made home on roofs of abandoned buildings, growing food on specified "planted roofs". They seemed to be ignored by Mental... until now.

- Description -

A Survival map themed on roofs and a lot of water. Enemies will mainly attack from the air, but also from the water, though water seems to be the safest area on this map. However, weapons and health are only found on the roofs.

Last Stand

While Sam was going around Abu Simbel, Mental's forces have found out the location of the EDF Headquarters and started their assault on the base. Join Hellfire and brave EDF soldiers on your Last Stand!

- Description -

This Survival map has two gimmicks. The first one is that every time you start the map, you might fight different waves of enemies. Enemies are coming from two sides and there's a choice of 4-4 batches of enemy waves that are chosen randomly when starting the level. The second gimmick is that whenever you kill enough "Small Special" or "Large Special" enemies, you will get some more NPC soldiers to help you out.
You can find health around the base and ammo from the ammo crates.

Night in the Museum

After a hell of a day, you manage to reach an old abandoned museum you could use as a shelter for the night. Who would have guessed, that the museum was a den of evil...

- Description -

This Survival map is based on the museum from the second level of the game, just with a different kind of theme. You'll get weapons and ammo from enemy soldiers. Beware of what lurks in the dark.

Scorpion Fort 2

Join a special ops task force and science team that have uncovered some pretty useful Sirian tech in this hidden valley. Using this tech, humanity could replicate any sort of technology or even organic creatures, even modifying these creatures by giving them specific weapons or cybernetic implants. However, Mental have sniffed out this tech as well. The originally sent few Arachnoid troops have been easily dispatched by your team, but those were only the scouts for Mental's Horde. Now mounting a full assault, Mental is hell bent on destroying this technology. Having no other choice, you've decided to feed the machine the DNA of Arachnoids to produce an army of Friendly Arachnoid defenders. But will this be enough for you to survive?

This map is the second version of my Scorpion Fort map, originally made for Serious Sam HD.

- Description -

This map is based on a unique-to-this-game pseudo-tower defense gimmick. You have a Cash Counter, and you earn cash by killing enemies. For the money, you can buy a variety of stuff like health, armor, weapons and ammo, or even a jetpack. The main attraction is the variety of Friendly Arachnoids you can buy to fight for you. There are two types of Friendly Arachnoids however: Those bought from the center of the base can walk around and won't respawn when killed. Those Arachnoids that are bought to defend one of the towers are permanent; when they die, they will respawn automatically and you can't change them in any way. The Tower Arachnoids also cost more money.
After a certain time a Treasure Arachnoid will spawn on the field. Killing that would net you some serious amounts of money.

North Pole

The cottage of Santa Claus is under attack by Mental! Are you bad enough dude to save Christmas?

- Description -

This Survival map is about all around enemy attacks, from all directions. Weapons and ammo spawn all over the place usually in the hands of snowmen, while health and armor is only around Santa's house.

Christmas Town

It seems Mental wants to end Christmas once and for all! Join a group of relentless survivors to make this night to be everything, but silent!

- Description -

This map is heavily reminiscent of Death Canyon, but still quite different. You start with shotguns and the assault rifle, but if you push further into the map, you might find some stronger weapons as well.

Damned Dam

Your chopper was shot down and you crashed on this great dam. Knowing that Mental's forces lurk nearby (after all, someone did shoot you down from the skies), you and your comrades decided to set up a makeshift camp to be ready for defense. You've also salvaged 4 Minigun turrets and 2 extremely rare XL4-P Beamgun Turrets. However, the batteries for them are quite low, so they could only work for a little while. Still, these turrets might come in handy, if you want to get away from this damned dam!

- Description -

A Survival map taking place on a huge dam, with enemies coming from two sides, and occasionally from the air. You can switch on 3-3 turrets to help you, but they can only work for a minute before turning off completely. Use them wisely!

Ibn-Tulun Defender

- Description -

A Survival map based on the final arena of the third level, Broken Wings, with a different lightning and a lot more enemies. Ammo and health in the middle, though some weapons and armor can be found in the siderooms as well.

Italian Night

The fabled city of watee, now overrun with Mental's minions. Trying to survive for the night, you secure an area which were completely cut out from the rest of the town, like an island. However, it seems you can't sleep even now...

- Description -

In this map you find yourself in a dark environment that are only lighted by either the full moon or the lamps. One of these areas is the center square, where you find most of the the pickups and also most of the enemies. Venturing out into the dark alleys can be dangerous, but probably your only choice to survive.

Well, originally three levels were DLC only, while the other worked with just BFE, but not sure of this Fusion version.
