The Battle for Caen (June to August 1944) is the name for the fighting between the British Second Army and German Panzergruppe West in the Second World War for control of the city of Caen and vicinity, during the Battle of Normandy. The battles followed Operation Neptune, the Allied landings on the French coast on 6 June 1944 (D-Day).

Requires Robz Realism Mod 1.24.6

Great mission and quite challenging. Had to progress methodically and save constantly. Nice to play as the Brits for a change, mods are all Nazis and Yanks lol

To be able to apply this mod to the game you need to follow these steps. Go to the mods folder in whatever drive you keep the MOWAS 2 game in and open the battle of caen mod folder. This is the path:-

E:\Program Files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2\mods\battle of caen.

If you store your game in the C drive then the path would read

C:\Program Files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2\mods\battle of caen

you then need to open the mod.info file with something like notepad. Then you need to change the MaxGameVersion entry to 3.262.1, and you also need to change the Require robz realism mod to 1.28.5. Save and close, launch the game and now you can apply the mod in options and run it.

Step 1 find where your downloaded mods are stored.
Step 2 click on this mod then left click properties
Step 3 open mod.info (open it with notepad)
Step 4 change the MinGameVersion to this "3.115" and the MaxGamVersion to this MaxGameVersion "3.262.1"
Step 5 click save
Step 6 close it
Step 7 start your game up and see if it worked
