Daemonolog

Description
New agent mod. Alternative version of Banks.

Daem have Daemon Cage augment that allows her to trap daemons and use them.

Daemon Cage holds the daemon for 6 turns, the daemon activates if not released in time. Trapping guard prolongs his KO to 6.
Using full Daemon Cage gives daemon specific effect, spawns 2 new daemons at random devices and increases firewalls on all devices with daemons by 1.


Different types of daemons give different abilities:
* Mask, Validate - gives disguise until next turn. Does not increase firewalls.
* Authority, Felix, Failsafe, Echo - disables target device for 6 turns.
* Rubic, Paradox, Castle, Portcullis - breaks 6 firewalls on target device.
* Fractal - kills both Fractal and the daemon on target device. No new daemons are spawned.
* Labyrinth - gives +6 AP to Daem.
* Shock, Jolt - KO target guard with intact heart monitor for 6 turns, disables heart monitor (guard and Daem both have to be near active devices).
* Siphon, or any other type - +6 PWR.

Playtested this a bit, I really like the daemon capturing mechanic/the idea of weaponising daemons and KO'd guards, it plays differently to anything I've seen. However, currently it really needs some more polish and bugfixes. I hope you come back to this mod eventually, this has a lot of potential.

How do you release or use a captured daemon?
I see a description of the daemon's use (e.g. "get +6 armour piercing and restore attack") but no button or option to actually activate it.

Very fun mod! I think lack of a screenshot doesn't give a good indication of how fun Daem plays!

Crashes the game when released from prison. Something about the daemon and increasing firewalls by 1, could be used on daemonolog's tile

I like this mod a lot – gives an interesting twist to daemon strategy. She'd be a powerhouse paired with Central.
