Description
Vanilla Version Link to WorkShop.

The mod adds some light armors from the X-Com2 assets and MGSV. These props are already present in some other mods, but they have a big issue for me, they render the weapons of the back, especially the sword, very far from the body.

This is a problem related with the animations of the armor models, and all mods I have seen with custom armors or torsos which don't have the same size as the Vanilla ones, have this problem.

After some research. I was able to correct all guns positions, this applies to the vanilla game and to LW2. I think I am the first figuring out how to fix this problem.

The procedure to fix any armor is in the discussion section. I hope the solution to this problem gets to the modders, so we can fix all the cool armors in the workshop.

I have also included some of my favorite props of the mods with this issue, so it is possible to have new sets of light armors, without repeated assets. I have not modelled any of the assets of this mod, just modified them to fix this problem and according to my personal preferences.

I based this mod on MGSV BDU Soldier Customization Pack, More clothes options (and other stuffs) and Jsleezys Repurposed Gear. Though I have given a different flavour to some of the stuff. Also, the models used in this work belong to Firaxis and Konami.

Issues:
- Currently there is still a minimun clipping with the PsiAmp, even after the update. Fix this requires trial and error editing of evey armor, i just fixed the thing the best i could till i got tired :).
- In the cinematic cameras, the guns appear also out of place, that also happens with the official content, and i dont know where this bug is from, it may be a limitation in the game design.

Other Mods:
I have also implemented a fix of some light armors from the fantastic work of [GWJ]Kexx:
- Fixed Light Armors (Game Girls) for Vanilla.
- Fixed Light Armors (Game Girls) for WOTC.

So, this mod carries all the armor/clothes from teh "More Clothes options", and "repurposed gear" or is it only partial? I'm asking because I have a bunch of doubles from these mods; and if I can I'd like to remove one mod so I no longer have doulbe x-com ballcaps and such.

@Boats McGoats, unfortunately, i have to pretty much modify the animations of the torsos. So, so far these mods are a replacement of the original ones.

@codenameray, i sent the author of the S9 mods a request. Hope they reply me soon. So i can send him the files, if not i hope he gives me permission to post the fix myself.
I have also fixxed a couple of DOA outfits and some mass effect uniforms. I will try to reach the original authors of those too. So i can send them the files.

@Revan519, @Maldracai, @codenameray. Unfortunately, doe to being mostly mods from other people, I dont want to just put mod versions from others people works. Also is a bit of too much work to fix every outfit by myself. So I just fixxed the ones i like the most and also feel more approapiate for use with swords. That said, i may add a couple of more mods if i am able to contact their authors.

@codenameray. I have done actually a fixxed version of those mods. I kept then privately cause i curreclty don want to mess too much with other peoples mods. I will ask ask the authors to grant me permission to post the fixxed version publicly.

Is there any chance you could fix the WotC gears? Specifically the Reaper and Templar pieces?

Oi. I may save this for the next time I purge my modlist and restart. Great work, though!

This mod adds its own versions of some armors, so yes you may have duplicates if you have the original mods xD

If I install this, will it duplicate the existing options, or simply fix the ones already present? I have almost all of the MGSV packs, and I already have too many options to search through, lol.

Hey, currently I lack time so i cant add more content at the time. That said, maybe I will take a look into it in the future.

@codenameray:
Might be better to direct those mod authors to the Discussion thread for the base game version of Fixed Light Armors. In there o_siyeza explained how they'd worked their magic.
