Description
Before joining up with Viktor as The Ascension, Konnor, then known as Conor O'Brian, was a member of the NXT Seasons 4-5 casts.

After being eliminated from NXT Season 5, O'Brien joined Ricardo Rodriguez's new Ascension stable, teaming with Kenneth Cameron (Impact's Bram). After Cameron's release, Rick Victor joined the Ascension.

Changing their names to Konnor and Viktor, The Ascension amassed a strong NXT following and held the NXT Tag Titles for a record 364 days.

After being called up to the main roster, The Ascension quickly lost momentum after initially calling out legendary tag teams from years past. The team is still active on the Smackdown roster, but have not captured any tag titles outside of NXT.
