Era - 1960s / 1980s - WWWF / AWA / NWA

A former boxer and boxing referee, ♥♥♥♥ Woehrle became a pro wrestling referee at the request of Vince McMahon Sr. Woehrle would be the top WWWF referee into the early 1980s, and would also be in demand for the AWA and various NWA territories. Woehrle was known for his no-nonsense approach to refereeing, never backing down from the wrestlers who challenged his calls.

Hah! Too funny. Good thing I'm not making a series of characters from 1960s comedy shows, since Dick Van Dyke would make Steam's censors explode.
