Giant's Steppingstones

First upload of 2018?
Its finally here, after almost 70 saves, the Giant’s Steppingstones have arrived!
My main aim in making this was to get it looking as true to the real world Giant’s Causeway as possible, I have spent an uncomfortably long time staring at pictures of the causeway and learning the science, and mythology behind it. The water erosion, damage to pillars and algae formations got a lot of attention.

A secondary aim was to try out the anti-climb walls and blocks, turrets etc.
So I made one long vertical dungeon, replete with turrets and anti-climb walls.
Best bring plenty of ammo and health items for this one.

Backstory!: The Saborian ministry of agriculture received a grant for a shiny new research facility, construction was never fully completed, yet with the war on there was no time to waste, research got underway instantly, anything that could be of use to the war effort was studied, some say that biological weapons may have been developed at the secretive HEX facility, seems unlikely…
Today the HEX facility remains, surrounded by the almost identical basalt columns from the coastline which it was torn from during the cataclysm. Be warned, the Saborians of old saw fit to defend the research, be prepared for trouble if you choose to explore.

I know what your thinking, “It looks unnatural!” but hey, have you seen the Giant’s Causeway? Because that’s what its supposed to be a more or less picture perfect recreation of. I’ll be honest, I don’t like the normal random noise generation look of islands, nature has many shapes.

Enough about that, A lot of custom groups where used in this island, from both before and after the addition of workshop. I have tried to note down every single group I have used and the creator of it, hopefully I have not missed any.
