It took me about ten minutes before I gave up and my friend showed me how to solve this puzzle.

I did not enjoy this map because of the difficulty of finding the cube dropper. I don't think Portal is a hunt-for-things-in-the-dark game. If the pedestal button were linked to the dropper by an antline rather than a symbol, the map would be good.
