Ricky Morton (1985 - 1988) -The Rock N Roll Express-

Ricky Morton and his tag team partner Robert Gibson joined the NWA's Jim Crockett Promotions in 1985 and quickly won the world tag team titles. Morton and Roberts would feud with The Russians and also feud with their rivals The Midnight Express. In 1986 Morton would engage in a feud with the World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair where Flair and the Four Horseman would attack Morton and rub his face in the pavement. The Rock N Roll Express would feud with The Andersons and win the Tag Titles a few more times until Morton and Gibson left Crockett in 1988.
