Hikaru

Hikaru is a former joshi wrestler who was one of the driving forces behind the now-defunct SUN promotion. She debuted in 1999 in All-Japan Women at age 17 then was inactive until returning to the promotion in 2002. In addition to winning virtually every AJW title, she began what would be a long on-and-off partnership/rivalry with fellow SUN headliner Saki Maemura that continued until both retired. After leaving AJW in 2005, Hikaru spent about a year as a freelancer before going to SUN in 2006 and staying there until April 2009, when she & Saki retired together after their final match on SUN’s final show, which Hikaru won.
