Once again, the map is a good reenactment of the original Puff level, it's just the backup kinda ruined it for me
All good now though
I've updated it now. Please tell me it's beatable or something. >_>
I'm also a little hesitant in removing the General from the map since it's supposed to be the "rotater of tables" (or something) especially since you can actually snipe it from the balcony. The back-up is also easy to lure and dodge if one uses the glass at the top floor (it's even better if the lights are dead).
The Zombie backup was supposed to come first, but then I decided to just let it go with that instead- it felt better. For some reason.
Buuutt.... I'm going to nerf it a bit. This map kinda relies in reaction time after all and I don't exactly know how fast most people are.
I always play the levels with the default .32 revolver, since a good level is always viable with any loadout. Thing is, I don't think any of the custom loadouts would be viable with the backup anyway, since all of ammo would be spent by the time you kill all the main enemies.
Cutting down a Sergeant and a General seems to be just the right thing to do in my eyes. You can also try & add a Sledgehammer without removing any of the enemies, but we'll have to playtest to see if that works out.
Also yeah, I guess you can add a Hard tag there, the level is somewhat hard.
The back-up is possible to kill, but just really hard. It kind of depends on your load out, so I should probably nerf it. A little. Maybe remove the two sergeants and general? Maybe add more weapons? I'll see to it later........
You might also be facing all three back-ups at the same time so-
the Zombie back-up arrives only if you complete the first objective (finding info). Which means if you spare some undead and then complete the first objective... then you won't have to deal with all three at the same time.
So as to say:
1st Objective: Finding Info
2nd Objective: Kill all. (first backup)
3rd Objective: Kill all backups
Should I also add 'Hard' on the tags? I thought people would easily plow through this one so I didn't add any.
and colors
and
uh
Anyway, I feel like it's quite balanced and everything.
BUT.
What is with the backup? It's impossible to kill all of em.
