Take of with SHIFT. Then W to pitch down, and S to pitch up, to get speed or to stop. Do not hold W or S for too logn as it will pitch too much and lose controle. When in place (in the air) yaw left and right is fast, when moving forward yaw is slower.

if only you used some better sieilds, havoc shield is big and all but it costs a TREMENDOUS amount of power. GSO shields and venture healing bubbles are probably the best as long as you don't plane on facing to many battleship MK3 cannons, or don't have an absolutely MASSIVE tech with more or less infinite power!

@Tankuality, yes, now it is just about balancing. This was before separate controls so it was about concept design also.

its honestly not very hard to do this now that there are separate controls for helis, you just need to balance it right, i have quite a few helis like this, and even a tiltrotor(actually, my apache looks kinda similar to this one)

@aqva, balance is broken, this was before they made separate controls for helicopters. Concept can be used, I make new helicopters same way, just balancing is different now.

i wish there was a way to make a helicopter hover in place like a hover craft. would make it easier to attack things
