Description
The Western Roman Empire suffers heavily in late game unit quality, which makes the game less fun for many people. Luckily, the Eastern Roman Empire has a bunch of late units to spice things up.

This mod adds new units to WRE from the ERE unit roster without breaking game balance.

1) Eastern Armoured Legio (T3 technology New Conscription System) - Gives a cheap upgrade to Legio Comitatenses.

2) Roman Armoured Sagittarii (T3 technology Elite Privileges) - Western Romans lack a proper late archer unit, so this helps fight against heavily armoured T3 units.

3) Eastern Auxilia Palatina (T4 technology Billeting) - Western Romans lack a T3 spear unit and this will make it possible to stand against other T3 infantry.

4) Equites Sagittarii (LV4 building Skirmisher Barracks) - Unlocked at the highest tier barracks, this will import Eastern Roman horse archers into your WRE army. Will not have a big impact, but provides extra flexibility.

5) Dromonarion Skirmisher (LV3 building Military Port) - Western Roman Ballista Marines are a practically useless unit in naval battles, so this provides a useful naval archer unit. Not sure what CA was thinking with Ballistarii ships but they are broken and useless. They probably didn't have time to test them in combat.

6) Dromonarion Ballista Skirmisher (T4 technology Federate Forces) - Gives a small upgrade to archer ships.

Additional changes:

*) Herculiani Seniores - Now available as general unit in custom battles.

This mod does not modify the AI, it only gives ownership of several units to WRE. If you are against Nomadic factions, then razing settlements might be related to difficulty setting. On higher difficulties Huns always raze everything to the ground.

The only downside is the building requirement. still, can be worked around.

This doesn't add Tagmata, Hetaireia or dromonarian camel skirmishers, disappointing. Is there any mod that actually adds all the ERE units to WREs lategame? Makes no sense that the WRE wouldn't have incorporated all the units in time if it had survived.
