No that is actually a great idea! I think I have got a way to put idea 2 to use!
I'll get to work on it and let you know when I've got it.

You're welcome! I was trying to think of things you could do . . .

Maybe (1) putting a death laser in that room somewhere, to be able to quickdie and start from a quicksave point. But, of course, adding that would ruin the concept of "I Was Just Here...?").

So maybe (2) an angled panel above the funnel polarity button with a hidden "backup" cube dropper above it that drops if the cube fizzles. But THEN that would make it way too easy to get the laser cube back over to that other side (just use the comp cube to get a laser cube, fizzle the comp cube, and then get the new comp cube to disable the large fizzler to get the laser cube--too easy and avoids the intended solution!) so that's not ideal either.

BUT, maybe go with idea (2) and somehow rig the hidden backup comp dropper to become permanently disabled once the comp cube activates the laser cube dropper button. I bet that would work.

AND, of course, I am probably overthinking this--on your map, not mine--to an embarrassing degree. I guess I wanted to come to the table with some ideas since I'm the one who brought up the isue! But this may be a huge amount of effort to cater to someone like me who isn't skilled enough to simply push a button at the right moment to get a cube past a fizzler! :) In summary, maybe don't even worry about it, haha.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback! I'll fix that little issue!

Good idea, that makes me want to create a chamber with a similar concept sometime (credited to you of course!). The only thing that was especially difficult was when I would accidentally fizzle the second companion cube, and there was nothing I could do except completely start over. Great, fun challenge. Thanks!
