Description
Bs Tropical Waters Home 01-L5 by HGscMENTOR ** Use this one instead of Bs Tropical Waters Home 01 ** because this one is set at Level 5 (hence, the -L5 in it's name) so it won't "morph" into another house you don't want. I don't know about the rest of you, but when I place a specific house in a specific spot to create a specific type of neighborhood, I want it to STAY there, not turn into some ugly pop-art industrial piece of ..... weeeellllll, you get my drift.

***** PLEASE NOTE THAT REQUIRED ITEMS ARE A MUST-SUBSCRIBE ***** as without them, this asset is just a house with a large yard of grass around it. This home was created by me out of a vanilla home that I plopped onto a nice large lot and landscaped.

Use this any way you like. I only have it on Workshop so I can eventually get it to stay on my Bs Tropical Waters 2 gameshare. So it has to be here to add to my Bs Tropical Waters Homes Collection for that gamesave. But you are welcome to use it any way you like.

Have fun and I hope you enjoy my work. Most of the time I enjoy playing about with it.

Thanks, Amonkey5, for the sweet comment. Sorry I didn't answer sooner - been offline for 2 years - just getting back on this week. LOTS of catching up to do. :^)

ah ok. I haven't really worked with the Asset Editor that much so I didn't know that. Good to know though!

Okay - so you want to know if just putting the landscaping items next to the house will increase the footprint? No.
In Asset Editor, when you have the building up on the screen and ready to work on it, look at the box to the right on the screen. The top of it will show two numbers with an " X " between them. That's the size of the footprint you are working in now.

Just click on one of the numbers, it will give you a drop-down box with other numbers and you choose one. That is what changes the "footprint" of your object. The new footprint you created will be shaded on the screen around the house. Then you just start adding the landscape items you want around the house but be sure to keep them inside the shaded area. Easy Peasy......

The "footprint" is the total area that the object will occupy in the grid space.

Hi There Raven :^)

I'm not sure if you mean when you take it to the Asset Editor and add more decorations/landscaping to this asset or if you mean did it increase the footprint size when I started out with the little vanilla house and then added the landscaping that is on this asset. Hmmmm......
Well, I can tell you that I never took any residential past 4 tiles on the road X 4 tiles back from the road, because the Colossal standards don't allow any more than that. I think the little house I started with was on less than 4x4, but can't remember. I do remember that I've added extra to most of my tropical waters homes as most of them started out as 2x2 .... as you will see when you look them up on the original Vanillas if you're trying to make one yourself.
Hope this helps - if I misunderstood, please give me more detail and I'll try again.
:^)
PS: Sorry for the late reply, I sometimes don't get to the "comments" more than 1 out of every 14 days ..... busy, busy, .....

does adding the decorations/landscaping to the house increase the footprint size?
