Candace Monroe's goal was to break into MMA and be the best fighter she could possibly be. She trained from the day she was able, and won a few amateur fights before finally getting her chance to go pro... where she was unceremoniously picked apart and choked out, barely mounting any offense. All of this happened in front of the woman she idolized, the one who inspired her to fight: Alexandria Kirison.

Candace nearly swore off fighting again, but Kirison met the young woman in the locker room, to her shock. She heard the words she'd always feared: "Maybe you're not cut out to be a fighter." But as the young Australian prepared to break down, Alex continued. "I got another idea for you, kid... come with me."

Candace traveled back to Seattle and began training in Phoenix Rising's gym, and quickly found professional wrestling to be her true calling. While she's still a bit raw, she's willing to pay her dues and rise through the ranks... her goal hasn't changed. She still wants to be the best, but no longer in MMA... her goal now is to become Phoenix Rising Women's Champion, and her hopes are to be the youngest champion in fed history.
