EMD GP9 - Penn Central

This mod adds an EMD GP9 with Penn Central livery.

The Penn Central was an American railroad that was created by the merger of the Pennsylvania and New York Central railroads in 1968. The New York, New Haven & Hartford Railroad was added to the merger in 1969. A year later the company filed for bankruptcy. After reorganization efforts failed, Congress nationalized the Penn Central in 1976. The Penn Central and 5 smaller railroads were folded into the newly created Consolidated Rail Corporation, commonly known as Conrail.

The EMD GP9 is a four-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors' Electro-Motive Division in the United States, and General Motors Diesel in Canada between January 1954 and August 1963. The GP9 series found enormous success and became one of the most successful diesel locomotives ever built.

• This mod adds new vehicles to the game without altering anything currently existing in the game.
  
• This is a repaint of Urban Games EMD GP9.
  
• Custom colors are intentionally disabled.

• The in-cab camera points backwards. This is to do with original model being oriented long hood forward.
  
• The multi-unit icon shows everything on 2nd unit backwards, including logos and wording. This is because game is using only one icon image and flipping it for the 2nd unit.
