Command's note:
The Resonance is one of the earliest battleships to pass trials and have great success during the imperial era of the Ricandan Navy forces and one of the few remaining series of vessles from that era that survives to this day. Built in 2016 as the largest battleship of it's time (which as of mid-2017 has lost this title) as per requirement built to hunt and destroy ships of the OW as it has larger guns and better speed than most of the opposition and has shields to better survive engagements. Though its usefulness has dwindled past the castleships and against more modern opponents, it was re-assigned as a patroll and merchant fleet hunter. Now many sit in ports as outdated museum ships, but a few captains still have them in service and maintained these ships beyond their service life as costal defence redesignated as battlecruisers while others have them struck off the register. To this day these ships are still the face of the navy adverts for their early service and their cannons used against unshielded targets which is how it obtained it's name: "Resonance" and the motto: "Our presence becomes well known."
