Era - 1960s / Early 1980s - WWWF / Big Time Wrestling

One of the most effective managers of his era, Ernie Roth started out as a disc jockey, but soon would take on the persona of Abdullah Farouk, the manager of the dreaded original Sheik.

Upon arriving in the WWWF, Roth now called himself the Grand Wizard of Wrestling and would manage a plethora of charges to title victories. Stan Stasiak, Superstar Graham, Pat Patterson and many others would find much success under the Wizard's energetic management.
