Wisteria, The Herbalist! (All versions compatible)

Description
Meet Wisteria, the Herbalist!
She has custom dialogue lines for every single entity in the game and is compatible with all
TL;DR at the bottom.

WARNING: Check the "bugs" section if you plan to play her in the Hamlet DLC.
WARNING #2: This mod will move to this[http//this] page shortly after the update is live to prevent the existance of two wisteria mods at once.

Translations
Disclaimer: i do not know anything about these languages, so let me know if something is off!

Wisteria's stats
They are fully customizable, but here are the default stats:
-She is not used to fighting and thus is frail having only 80 maximum Health and dealing only 75% damage per hit. She's an herbalist, not a soldier!
-She has a standard 150 points of hunger with a standard modifier.
-She has a lower sanity, capped at 120. Being dragged into Maxwell's world took its toll on her, but the garland she starts with will help mitigate this in the first days.

Wisteria's perks
-Her body is accustomed to consuming herbs and learned how to make the most out of remedies. She heals for a bonus 50% Health when eating foods that recover Health.
-This, however, extends to all sort of chemicals, which means that harmful foods will take away 50% more Health aswell.
-Being used to pick herbs made her really quick in doing it: she can intantly harvest all herbs (grass, twigs, berry bushes, mushrooms... you got the idea.) without losing time to do the picking animation. This does not extend to seaweed since it's a plant she's not familiar with.
-Being an herbalist, she knows plants and nature really well and thus is able to craft some remedies that are unique to her and will prove to be useful in her survival adventures.

Remedies
-Simple bandage: You will need 2 silk to make it and a science machine to prototype it. Heals 12 hp and is used in some more powerful recipes.
-Basic ointment: It's made using 3 petals and a butterfly wing at a science machine. Heals 20 hp.
-Wound dressing: Combine a simple bandage and a basic ointment at an alchemy engine. Heals 35 hp.
-Herbal bandage: Add 3 lichens to a simple bandage at an alchemy engine to make this ruins exclusive item. Heals 35 hp.
-All of these remedies plus the vanilla healing salve and honey poultice are handily placed in a new crafting tab, much like wickerbottom has her own tab for books.

Configurable parts
-Maximum HP: you can choose between 80 (default), 100, 110, 120 and 150
-Maximum Sanity: you can choose between 120 (default), 150, 175 and 200
-Damage multiplier: you can choose between 0.75 (default) and 1 (same as wilson).

I recomend you check it out to see how Wisteria used to be and also be able to see the amazing backstory and videos made specifically for her.

The original authors know about the existence of this mod and i made it under their permission.

Bugs and glitches
-If you find any bug or glitch tell me what happened and what action exactly you were doing. The more details you add, the better it is. Screenshots are optional but highly appriciated.
-If you find some typos in the dialogue tell me and I'll fix them right away.
-Although she is technically compatible with the hamlet DLC, i have done no testing yet and i am 100% sure she will be bugged as hell. I will address this ASAP but in the meanwhile you may experience all sort of weird things happening. Be aware of this while you play!

To be added list
-Redo some animations that got bugged in the Hamlet DLC.
-Add an alternative for the herbal bandage for DLCs that don't have lichen.
-Fix all bugs related to Hamlet DLC and add custom description lines for its items.
-Upload better screenshots.
-Possibly add more perks or remedies.

Backstory about this mod and me
Wisteria used to be my favorite character in the game because of many reasons: I liked her hard playstyle, the art and personality that they gave her and her instant picking ability. Her original backstory by the creators was a big plus, too!
When I saw that her animations and dialogue got buggy in Shipwrecked I couldn't help myself (and people like me who liked her) and decided to make her compatible with everything.

I used the Extended Character Mod to do this, I really recomend anyone who wants to make a character mod to use it because it's really amazing.

The code is fully commented at the best of my speech skills. You can use it to learn how to mod characters and items too.

My touchstone mod was created with this character in mind, give it a look!

Ask me anything and feel free to add me!

TL;DR
-Stats: 80 Health, 150 Hunger and 120 Sanity. Starts with a garland. Has Wendy's damage multiplier.
-Perks: Healing food is 1,5 times stronger but damaging food is also 1,5 times stronger. She can also pick all plants (grass, twigs, etc. but not seaweed) instantly.
-She has custom healing items.
-Fully configurable.

Suggestions of any kind are appreciated

I appreciate the thought but as of now consider this project indefinitely on hold. I still read suggestions so if you have any feel free to toss them in.

Oh thanks sir. I wonder if I can help

I still read the comments and answer to them but unfortunately i had to scrap my projects away, at least for the next few years. Real life sometimes hits you like a truck, unfortunately. I, however, plan to come back to this mod and maybe even port it to DST one day (I am fully aware there currently already is a wisteria mod available for DST but it's more of an update/rework rather than a 1:1 port. I like it a lot, but also want people to have the original wisteria experience).

There's already a DST wisteria, although not made by me. i may port her myself eventually but life is currently very full and progress on the mod is (at least for now) halted

can wisteria be ported to DST?

I know mate, sadly real life sucks and is quite troubled; also, quite a lot of coding turned out to be way harder than expected. I totally did not abandon this one nor plan to, so don't worry about that!

Attention to all players and users of my mod: As a new addition the original wisteria cast, I will move this mod to the original wisteria page at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/218218900/540731690619977273/

I will leave this workshop page alive and going for about a month or two, after which i will close it and release all updates on the original wisteria page provided in the link. Make sure to check it frequently, i will post a comment in here some days before i actually delete this page so as to warn you all. Sorry for the inconvenience, and have a nice day!
