Star Wars - Scenario

Description
Backstory (see video)

Disney has purchased Lucasfilm for a small value of $4.05 Billion, however company restructuring has left the Lucasfilm team short of work since the takeover.
The management team has pulled together a small amount of funds to create a Star Wars park in Alaska, and require a talented Park Manager to join them.
As a start-up park, the employees find themselves in unusual jobs (and having to pitch in!), but have a wealth of left over Star Wars assets and props to create bespoke experiences - good luck...

Employees:
George Lucas - Legend (Cleaner)
Brian Miller - Head of Creative Asset Management (Cleaner)
Paul Southern - Licensing (Cleaner)

Kathleen Kennedy - President (Shop Assistent)
Lynwen Brennan - EVP (Shop Assistent)
Howard Roffman - Franchise Management (Shop Assistent)
Kiri Hart - SVP Development (Shop Assistent)
Jason Mcgatlin - Physical Production (Shop Assistent)
Lori Aultman - Finance (Shop Assistent)
Rob Bredow - Chief Technology Officer (Shop Assistent)
Blaire Chaput - HR (Shop Assistent)
John Knoll - Chief Creative Officer (Shop Assistent)
Josh Lowden - Skywalker Sound (Shop Assistent)

Tips and Tricks:
1 - Due to previously well paid employees finding themselves cleaning park loo's and serving Taco's - it will be a challenge to keep the staff happy! Remember, a Jedi needs a Master!
2 - Star Wars fans are generally old and slow! To counteract this, ensure you consider building a transport system so they don't have to walk the expanse of the park.
3 - The Marketing department are very strong as have great contacts still in the film industry.
4 - The old props are extremely well put together and you will find the breakdown rate of them to be lower than normal.
5 - A typical Star Wars fan is expecting a thrilling experience - attracted by the dream of being Red One - the lead X-Wing pilot, what other coasters could keep them entertained?

Lucasfilm was acquired in December 2012 by The Walt Disney Company, and this is a completely fictional backstory!

YES! I'm so happy to see people are still making scenarios, and not just that, but those made with passion. Thank you for this!

For strategy in playing this: The base station is amazing but its path construction is not conducive to a profitable park. I closed most of the shops as well as the rides that are too far away to be immediately helpful. This meant that except for Red One (a beautiful creation btw!), I was pretty much starting from scratch building out the park. I took advantage of all the terrific Star Wars objects, shamelessly copying them to boost ride queue scenery ratings.

In just a couple of months the park became flooded with guests - they got out in front of me and created logjams on the paths. Crime and vandalism became an issue and it took a few game months to sort that out - limiting the number of guests in the park, spreading things out more, widening paths, creating alternate path routes and training security staff. Once that was under control and staff was trained up it was pretty smooth sailing to accomplish the scenario objectives. Fun all the way!

I just finished the scenario. I enjoyed it a lot!

I started playing before the 1,10.2 update, and was still playing after it. After the update I changed the load rules for the Red One coaster, and something strange happened that I've never seen before: The coaster lost its ratings and just stopped working. I put it in test mode, but the coaster did not start. I tried closing, turning on track edit, moving the entrance (canceled the move) - none of that worked. After a few unsuccessful attempts to get it going again, I deleted the first track and the front-most piece of the station, then rebuilt them. The exit refused to be placed in the identical place it was before, so I placed it as close as I could to its original position. That did the trick and all is well again. So I suspect the update made some slight change that affected this particular coaster.

@wsiegel - strange, not see that before! Maybe spread some toilets out around the map early on?

Game must have bugged out as all was going well then all of a sudden I had 1,000 people trying to use the rest rooms. I installed 4 on the small pad to the side and still wasn't enough. they blocked all paths and the janitors couldn't access to clean. Will try again as I loved this map after adding the monirail and coasters/rides this looked great until the "great purge! "

Seems the only thing missing is a new entry in the park operating costs: the team of lawyers required to fight against the Disney legal leviathan! :steamhappy:
