btw, this is working! I imported my save and all good. I find x3 hp is just right, not too hot or too cold for the bandit soup. Cheers.

Thank you so much, to me the fact that a few starving bandits could swing wooden sticks at my huge metal gate for like 10 seconds and break through is so unimmersive

Needs to affect walls too, since AI attacks walls now.

I really like the idea of research which improves gate health. I also think that gate repair speed should recieve a significant boost so that using units to repair the gate while it's being damaged actually makes a difference.

Thanks for the mod. The HP of gates in vanilla is just way too low, so I feel as though this is a much needed mod. However, I feel like my gates are still being destroyed way too quickly. so perhaps building onRazorthorns ideas below -- that an increase in gate HP should be obtained via researching -- this mod could do the following:

1. Update vanilla base gate HP values (x3 seems approproate)
2. Obtain via research a way to further boost gate HP to a total of x5 or 10 (whatever value is appropriate).

BTW, I can confirm that this mod works retroactively. As Shidan said, after you load the mod, gate hp is reset to zero and needs to be repaired.
