Hello,

please consider this as my entry into the engineering ingenuity category for the physics contest.

A quick note, Most of the vehicles in this world can be operated simply by pressing the 1 key to start the program, some further instructions may be required for the excavator:

keys used are WASD up, down, left, right QE laid out in standard ISO control scheme. the 4 key is ued to switch between dig and drive modes, ensure to detach the group called detach tracks, or it will not move.

Everything else should be fairly straight forward.

Please note in the submission email I will include the blueprints that are contained in this world to spawn seperately in a not so lag intensive world.

P.S. Major shoutout to the guy who programmed all of it. Sinbad, over at the keen forums, i wouldn't have been able to have these amazing things without your programing efforts.

When I detach the detach group on the tracked excavator, it also seems to detach the rotors that spin the wheels of the tracks. This is one of the reasons why I cannot get to move it. Am I doing anything wrong?

The turning on and off of the block is what toggles the drive mode, if I recall correctly it's default bound to the 4 key. Also don't forget to actually detach the tracks

I love this entry! Over SE's lifetime I've given a go at excavators and towing/hauling vehicles so I very much respect the effort and ingenuity involved. Not to mention the time!

I have a question regarding the tracked excavator. I'm unable to get it into 'drive mode'.

My direct question is this. Is the "mode switch" block not supposed to have any actions? Or am I doing something incorrectly?
