Description
2 SWEPs that allow players to communicate privately with eachother, and cause a scrambled noise (Starwars Deathtrooper sound effect) to play on the client in lieu of voice chat.

Players wielding the Receiver or Transceiver SWEP are able to type /uplink or /delink in chat while looking at a player, allowing them to share or remove their comms uplink with others.

I don't maintain this mod anymore. For better compatibility with other mods, and possibly extra features, please subscribe to the improved version that is maintained by Theodor:

I don't support this addon anymore. I'm sorry for the compatibility issues, though whenever I made this I was kind of learning as I went and didn't give much concern to how it would encrouch on other mods. However, since it's easy to get all of the assets and source code from the mod, I wouldn't have an issue with someone else picking up the project and ironing out the compatibility issues. Since you've already had someone find and solve the issue for you, I don't mind if you make an improved version and upload it to the workshop. I'll link to it from here if you ever decide to do that. Anyway, since updates to this aren't important anymore, just mount a fixed filesystem version of the addon to your server and it should work fine. Thanks for the commment.

For anyone monitoring this thread for updates:
I intended to change the holdtype for the receiver swep, but I lost the files on my PC and I can't be bothered to extract them from the gma file to update them.
Also, I don't know what uChat is and I have no intention of developing around it, so I'm sorry but this mod will never be compatible with uChat.

It uses the pistol holdtype, would you be willing to change it?
