The new planet.

About 6 years I was selected from a group of 3678 people to go find a new planet for humanity. me and 5 other people were selected for this intense task. We underwent 1 year of brutal training with me and my buddy jack almost drowning. but finally the moment came the scientist have found what they thought would be the perfect new planet for humanity, and the real task begun. On 29-1-2053 we were send to space with our spaceship. the six of us me, Jack, Jones, Bob, Kacper and Tod. Everything went good so when we left our solar system just one month in our +/- 2 year journey we got into our freezing pods and slept for 2 years until it was time to wake up. On 14-04-2055 it was time to get back in control and land safely on the planet but something went horrible wrong when we were frozen, some of our systems failed so we didn’t have any connection back to earth. me and the others hurried to the cockpit of the space vessel and tried to fix the problem without success so we where on our own to land it. the landing was rough but we made it before we would head out we would check the ship if anything else was broken, to our shock we realized kacper was missing in all the stress from the failure we didn’t realized he wasn’t there when we checked his pod he wasn’t there. after searching for hours we found him lying dead in a corner of the cargo room. We where shocked, but had to go on try make a new living on this mysterious planet. we grab our gear and went on search for a place to make our base camp. After 4 days we found it in a place at the bottom of the tall hill we landed on. Me and the rest of the team started to get everything setup the engine’s of the ship where used to generate power for our machines. after we had the base camp set up we started making the scanner a big swinging arm with a round satellite dish underneath, to check the earth for water and other useful materials. With the progress of building it and the lack of food bob and jack had to give up on live the couldn’t handle it anymore. After a month of there passing we realized something weird about the planet, nothing would go rotten so we had to find a way to give the dead a nice place to call there new home. we picked a place on the mountain and put there bodies in biopods where there bodies could lay forever. A year was already over but we didn’t realize and just went back to work trying to fix the communication to earth, and try to explore more land. eventually Tod the smartest of us all made a exploration robot that could go out and explore the planet while we worked on other stuff. After 2.5 years we finally got the communication back up and we were able to talk to the home planet. now on this day 10-12-2058 we finally received the backup, a group of people that is going to help us explore this planet even more and make this a truly new home for humanity. Under the people of this group are you. are you ready to take on this task and make this our new home? if so please leave your ship and help us make this dream reality.
