Story
Welcome to the underground realm of Subterrane. Help the dwarven folk turn their network of caverns into a fantastical park for all to enjoy! There is one rule, though: NO DIGGING! The cave network offers all kinds of space - some small areas, some large, some crisscrossed with tunnels you could wind a clever roller coaster through. It's all up to you to explore and discover.

The dwarves first contracted with another company, who built them a carousel, a hellion ring, and a wicked dark ride coaster experience called The Demon Mine. They had just begun construction on a monorail and finished the initial station when negotiations went sour and they had to pull out. The dwarves are eager to see the monorail completed - they've even hollowed out a path for their "Tube Crawler" already. (Did I mention dwarves are terrible with names? Just wait until you see what they call French Fries.)

Beyond that, your main objectives are to fill the park with wonderful attractions and to make sure the underground fatigue doesn't bring down your staff too much!

Advantages
- High quality Dwarven engineering ensures a low breakdown rate on rides.
- The folk who dwell in Subterrane are notoriously harsh on crime. You needn't worry about pickpockets or vandals.

Challenges
- The dwarves have forbidden diggimg machinery, so you must work with the terrain you have!
- All staff find the long hours working underground to be quite fatiguing, and need more time to rest than normal.
- Navigating in the dark is tricky, and there are many cavern rooms to explore. You will also need to make sure to provide plenty of lighting for guests to navigate.
- There's only one loan company in Subterrane. While they can get you funded, they don't mess around when it comes to interest rates.

Tips and Tricks
- You will definitely want to turn on the Freelook Camera by pressing the T key. The normal camera mode does not work well underground.
- When you have Freelook Camera turned on, hold down the Shift key to move the camera faster.
- Make sure to press L to turn on the camera torch/flashlight - it helps a lot in the dark! (Though for additional challenge, turn "No Clip" OFF in the camera settings so you can't move through the terrain. It makes exploring more fun!)

I put together a starter kit with items you may want to use for this scenario! If you have anything you think would be fun to add, please let me know and I'll take a look: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1287933480

Also, this is my first attempt at creating a scenario. I would love to hear back as to whether the objectives are too easy, too difficult, or if you find any bugs or have any questions!

Hmm...no comments for more than a year! I just finished this scenario and enjoyed it a lot. Lovely entrance area, but brutal game play. Brutal is good. Placing hundreds of lights to figure out the catacombs took hours. Then planning paths and rides so I didn't box myself in took more work. I could not place additional stations for Tube Crawler - every place I tried was just slightly too small. So I did a big "undo" and replaced the ride with a train. Smaller stations plus the maximum turn of 36 degrees compared to monorail's 30 degrees was enough to allow station placement where I wanted it. All in all, a very unique and interesting scenario. Thank you for creating and sharing it!

The collection is just a set of individual blueprints of some of the builds I made for the scenario; you don't have to download them to play the scenario at all. It's only if you want to use them for your own parks separately. (The starter kit linked at the bottom of the description is just a set of workshop items from various builders I thought worked well with the scenario, but again, you don't need to subscribe to them unless you want to!)

Will all of your custom stuff show up if I download and run your challenge scenario on its own? Or do I need to download your collection. I'm trying to keep a cleaner install of the game. txs!

Hmm, people still getting stuck. I was able to catch video of several instances of guests walking straight through barriers when trying to view the vista point or exiting picnic tables, so I put in a bug report on the forums. Fun, fun! I'm uploading a version with the barriers removed, so they'll walk through part of the scenery now, but at least they won't get stuck and start freaking out about it! I'll put back the barriers when it gets fixed.

Thanks, I'd love to hear what you think! I couldn't watch the stream live today, but got to see it a couple hours later and was really happy they included my scenario. CJ reading it in a dwarf voice was so much fun! I did notice some stuck people during the stream (maybe a problem with the barriers around the planters), so I'm going to do a quick fix for that tonight and re-upload it.

Saw this on the stream today and it looks awesome! Going to give it a play

No worries! Hopefully I'll get to play this after a sale because it looks like a lot of fun!

Oops, thank you for the reminder! I don't always remember to mark the required DLC. They are added now.
